Has anyone written a GDPR primer for startups ("do these X things and you won't end up in a French prison cell"), or is it foolish not to go engage a lawyer on this? Asking for a company in my poor-tfolio.

Please publish what you find. I’ve just inherited a startup and need to do this. The info online is terrible.
